Caring for your Harriet Jean Piece

Here are some care instructions for your Harriet Jean purchase . Our pendant initials are made by bonding a layer of gold to a base metal, giving the look of solid gold at an affordable price. Please follow these guidelines when wearing and caring for your pieces:

  • Keep away from moisture and humidity
  • Avoid applying perfumes and lotions to the neck area, as they may contain acidic ingredients that will react with your necklace
  • Remove your jewellery when physically active, sweating excessively, swimming, or showering. Harsh chemicals and salt can damage the jewellery over time
  • Store your necklace in a cool, dry place, preferably in the airtight jewellery pouch provided, to avoid scratching
  • Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth to remove any buildup from environmental and physical exposure

Following these steps will help prevent tarnishing and keep your piece looking it's best for many years to come.

Gold Filled Components 

Our Harriet Jean pieces use gold-filled materials and pendant letters. These are made by bonding a layer of gold to a base metal, which gives the look of solid gold but at a more affordable price.

Because these pieces have a metal base, it's important to care for them properly. Please follow our care instructions by limiting exposure to water, sweat, and harsh chemicals, as these can degrade and tarnish the jewelry. To clean, use a soft, dry cloth and store each piece separately from other jewelry to prevent scratching.

Shipping and Returns Policy 

At Harriet Jean, we prided our brand on creation of bespoke pieces that you will love. If you're not completely satisfied, we will consider returns for unworn items on a case-by-case basis. Please note, customised items are non-returnable.

Shipping 

Each piece is handmade to order so shipping of your order may take upwards of 3 weeks to be shipped, unless the item you are ordering is a preorder item and therefore specific dates will be specified.

Once your order has been shipped you will receive tracking details through for tracking of your order.

Custom pieces are unable to be returned as they are made specifically for orders placed, as each piece is handmade please take care with your items. A 3 month warranty period will be provided, should you require a repair. Unfortunately we do not offer refunds for change of mind.
